On the 27th August 2012, the prestigious Paralympic Torch made an exciting appearance at House of Sport!The House of Sport hosted a “Make Every Player Count” disability festival organised by Sport Cardiff in collaboration with Cardiff City Football Club.

The event was attended by around 150 guests from six different impairment groups participating in various fun sessions and games to celebrate this landmark event for disability sport in South Wales.

Cardiff City House of Sport is currently in the building phase of another state of the art facility – a Multi Sport Hall! This is due to be completed by December this year!

House of Sport has been extremely active over the pre-season months. In addition to numerous clubs taking full use of the facility, we have successfully hosted a variety of education & community projects, birthday parties, general bookings and corporate matches.

On Thursday 28th July a staff “grudge” match took place between Cardiff City FC staff and the FAW at House of Sport.

Although both teams played extremely well the hard fought contest was won by Cardiff City FC with a 20-9 score.
