“The plethora of sports facilities that I’ve used over the years has left me with little or no confidence in the industry. However, Business Development Manager, Joanna Borley of House of Sport, has restored my confidence with the ability to provide a proactive, reliable, and friendly service committed to offering professional and state of the art facilities for a vast range of sporting events.”

Richard Archer Cardiff City FC Foundation

“We’ve been regularly using House of Sport for about two years and I have to say they’re the best publicly available facilities in South Wales. Joanna (Executive Director) and her team are brilliant, friendly, helpful and always available. The indoor 3G pitch is fantastic and the facilities at the House of Sport contribute to the fact that we regularly get 18 people turning up week in, week out.”

Fraser McLennan Box UK

“To have access to an unrivalled multi-sport facility like House of Sport is invaluable to our learners. We’re able to offer a wide range of sporting education opportunities in an inspirational environment whilst also providing world-class training facilities for our teams and sports academy students.”

James Young Cardiff & Vale College

“I have great pleasure in recommending Cardiff City House of Sport.

The Wales Veterans Football representative teams have found the facility ideal for our get togethers before international matches. The staff are very friendly and helpful and because of the excellent surface we have been able to prepare our teams to meet the high standard expected of them.

We would certainly hope to make full use of the facility in future.”

John Herniman, League Coordinator Wales Veterans Football

“In 2012/13, Sport Wales awarded a Development Grant of £50,000 to establish a ball sport hall at Cardiff City House of Sport Ltd based in Leckwith, Cardiff.

House of Sport, although linked to Cardiff City FC, is intended to engage with several sports, not just football, to also include basketball, futsal, netball, korfball, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair basketball to name a few. The project overall has been a huge success with increased participation in all sports catered for and a particular increase in basketball and women’s football. The project also has good engagement with BME groups and continues to go from strength to strength.

Cardiff City House of Sport Ltd presented a considered and inclusive approach to the project which allowed greater participation in a range of sports whilst also engaging groups from the community who previously wouldn’t have had the opportunity to use facilities such as this.

House of Sport has clearly demonstrated its ability to plan, produce and deliver on proposed project outcomes and outputs.”
