We are extremely excited to announce that Phase II is now open for bookings!
On the 17th March, the House of Sport II facilitated a series of netball matches for the Glamorgan Valleys Junior league. 19 teams consisting of 200 young players took part over the course of the day:
Jean Foster, League Chairman, praised the House of Sport II for it’s sprung floor, run off area and spectator space. Jean said:
“We are all excited and looking forward to playing again at the House of Sport – this is just such a great venue for us to develop our young players”
Cardiff Celts women’s basketball club also had a fantastic first home game against the Bromsgrove Bears. The final score was a convincing victory with 61 points to 39 points.
Cardiff Celts’ Coach Tony Hinchey had the following words to say about the new arena:
“…Cardiff Celts Played their first game at the new House of Sport on Sunday against Bromsgrove Bears … the team played some of its best basketball of the season which culminated in an excellent win 61 – 39. After the game without exception both teams commented on the excellent quality of the court and the facilities. We are certainly looking forward to playing all of our home games here in the future.”
