From September 24th – 29th, Cardiff City House of Sport hosted the 2024 World Youth Netball Cup Qualifiers at our facilities. This event brought together 6 international teams including The United Arab Emirates, The Isle of Man, The Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland to go head to head on our state-of-the-art Netball Court in HOS 3.

The tournament was split across 5 days with a total of 15 matches being played. Each day was filled with exceptional talent, nail biting games, excited crowds and brilliant support.

The reason for this event was to crown 3 qualifiers who will attend the 2025 World Youth Netball Cup in Gibraltar. We’d like to give congratulations to our qualifiers:

Wales

Scotland

Northern Ireland

Also a huge congratulations to the other teams who competed in this event: The United Arab Emirates, The Isle of Man and The Republic of Ireland – you all showed brilliant talent and excellent sportsmanship.

We would like to give our thanks to Europe Netball and Wales Netball for choosing us to host this spectacular event. Also, to their staff as well as Umpires, UAPs and Technical Officials for working hard and being lovely throughout.

We would also like to praise our staff involved with the event for their continued hard work which allowed the lead up and each day to run smoothly. Each and every one of us is thrilled with the outcome and we hope to host this exciting event again in the future!
