The First Minister of Wales visited Cardiff City House of Sport on Friday 7th February to support the Welsh Rugby Union’s Apprenticeship Programme.
Mark Drakeford AM, the First Minister of Wales, visited Cardiff City House of Sport on Friday to see for himself how the WRU are helping young people during one of their sessions as part of National Apprenticeship Week.
The WRU Rugby Development apprenticeship programme provides young people with recognised qualifications, new skills, knowledge and a wealth of experience working as a Rugby Development Apprentice.
The apprentices engaged with girls from UM Academy UK, a primary and secondary school for Muslim girls in Wales, as they took part in a fun rugby session on the Roller Rink.
We’d like to thank the Welsh Rugby Union and the UM Academy for hosting their productive session at Cardiff City House of Sport, and the First Minister for his visit in support of the programme.
