What’s happening at Cardiff City House of Sport this week?
House of Sport is a multi-sports facility for professional, community and grassroots sports in Leckwith, Cardiff. Our facilities are open to the public and you can view our price list here.
FACILITIES IN DEMAND
Our 3G pitches are by far our most in demand facilities at House of Sport for football training and fixtures, with almost 100 bookings taking place across all 3G facilities at both sites this week.
Many clubs and organisations are frequent users of our 3G pitches such as Cardiff City Football Club, Wales Veterans FC, Cardiff & Vale College, Cardiff & Vale Schools Football Association, Canton RFC, Barry Town United Academy, Canton Liberal FC and many more!
Education
Throughout the week, Cardiff City FC Foundation and Cardiff & Vale College will be holding their daily classes and sporting sessions for 16-18 year olds. Both organisations are permanent educational partners of Cardiff City House of Sport.

AFFILIATION WITH CCFC
Cardiff City Football Club is a close affiliate of Cardiff City House of Sport. We provide training facilities for their Academy, Women’s team, and also their first team on some occasions.

Both Cardiff City Academy and Cardiff City FC Women play their home fixtures at Cardiff International Sports Campus. You can watch the Women’s team for FREE on Sunday 17th November as they take on Aberystwyth Town Ladies in the FAW Women’s Cup – 2pm.
SPORT FOR ALL
House of Sport is more than just a football-based facility. We pride ourselves on providing facilities for various sports in the community.
Diamond Tennis Academy hold comprehensive coaching sessions for all ages and abilities, 7 days a week. Find out more about our tennis partners here.
Recovery Walking Netball is back tomorrow at 6:30pm! The session aims to engage with netball players of all abilities who are looking to get into the sport or return to the competitive game after suffering from an injury. Click here to find out more!
Cardiff & District Netball Leagues and Glamorgan Valleys Netball Leagues keep our facilities as busy as ever on a Wednesday and Thursday evening, as hundreds of junior and adult netball players compete.
Other notable users of our Multi-Sport Courts include Cardiff Raptors Korfball Club, Cardiff City Basketball Club and Cardiff Handball Club, who all train here on a weekly basis.
ROLLER RINK
We’re proud to be home to the only Roller Rink in Wales. This facility is home to many roller hockey clubs who compete in the British Inline Puck Hockey Association league (BIPHA) and South Wales Ball Hockey League (SWBHL).
The Roller Rink is predominantly used for hockey, but Cardiff Skate School also hold roller skating lessons for juniors and adults. You can find out more about them here.
