It’s been an incredible journey for Llanrumney United Women, who have absolutely smashed their original five-year plan by securing back-to-back promotions and reaching the Adran South in just two seasons.

With the team continuing their rise through Welsh women’s football and working towards the Adran Premier (the highest level of the women’s game in Wales), we welcomed the players to House of Sport for an evening away from football and some well-earned team bonding on the padel courts.

After all their hard work on the pitch, it was time to see what they could do with a padel racket in hand! The evening brought plenty of laughs, some surprisingly competitive matches and, as you might expect from a team of footballers, no shortage of opinions on who was the best (and worst)on court.

It was a great opportunity for the players to enjoy themselves as a team and celebrate just how far the club has come in such a short space of time.

We’re excited to see what comes next for Llanrumney United Womens as they continue their journey in the Adran South and push towards even bigger ambitions.
