House of Sport has been extremely active over the pre-season months. In addition to numerous clubs taking full use of the facility, we have successfully hosted a variety of education & community projects, birthday parties, general bookings and corporate matches.

Most recently, Cardiff City FC’s first team, U21 and U18 squads have been using the 3g pitch for fitness testing to prepare for the coming season. Good luck boys!

House of Sport welcomes…
Cardiff and Vale Schoolboys who have signed up to use the facility on Sundays (10am-1pm) and Mondays (5-8pm). Training will commence on the 11th September. Cardiff and Vale County Schoolboys Football is an organisation run by teachers and supported by primary and secondary schools in Cardiff and the Vale. Finally, a very big welcome to the Cardiff & Vale College! We are very pleased to announce that Cardiff and Vale College will be bringing their sports courses and Football Education Scheme for boys and girls to House of Sport! The courses begin on the 12th September every Monday and Tuesday.
We look forward to welcoming all clubs in the upcoming months. We hope you all thoroughly enjoy your House of Sport experiences!

A warm thank you to our Monday, Wednesday and Friday night regulars who play at the House of Sport every week –the Marshfield Boys, Ben House & Friends and Karsan Vaghani.
Also we’d like to give a big thank you to Rob Franklin and the Sport Cardiff team for holding their successful ‘Sports for all’ initiative at the House of Sport. The disability programme will resume their sessions at House of Sport on the 11th September. The sessions are every Sunday from 2-5pm.
We’d finally like to thank Sony EU for their ongoing support. Sony has most recently donated a brand new Playstation 3 unit for the enjoyment of the House of Sport users.
